The Modular TRITON Camera Tripod System:

TRITON offers a clearly laid-out range of tripods and panheads. The products are compatible with each other, allowing you to customize the tripod ideal for your particular application. At the end of this product presentation you will find descriptions of suitable tripods.

The TRITON Action Grip PH 56 offers a particularly easy and quick operation.

Just push the large lever at the front of the panhead to unlock it for free movement in any direction.

Release the lever and the PH56 will automatically be locked in position.

The PH56 actiongrip is ideal for tracking moving objects like planes, birds, ...

The load capacity is approximately 4kgs depending on how far up you wish to point the instrument.

Applications:

The Action Grip can be used for all applications for which you would use a normal ball head, but is particularly suited for:

The Actiongrip is particulary easy and comfortable to use. You will not need to bother with separate locking clamps. Just push the big lever for movement and release it for locking the head in position. The single handed operation means that you have one hand free for other equipment, e.g. for triggering the camera.

Adjustable friction:

The friction that keeps the movement of the PH56 locked when the big lever is not pulled can be adjusted. That way you can compensate for temperature-related changes in the friction, or you can simply turn it tighter if you want to place a relatively heavy instrument on the head. Once you pull the lever you will still be able to move the action grip freely.
